Home-made English Breakfast

This recipe will definitely have you considering a move to England!

I visited London with my friend in December, while we were there we had a great English breakfast that had me wanting more. A few weeks later, I decided to re-create it.

1 can of baby button mushrooms

2 classic beef frankfurters

2 (free-range) eggs, 1/4 cup evaporated (or fresh) milk

1 small tin of baked beans

1.5 tablespoons of (Anchor) Butter

Salt, 1/2 knorr cube

Mushrooms and Frankfurters

With 1/2 tablespoon butter, stir fry until cooked. The mushrooms were too bland for me so I added a pinch of salt and half a knorr cube.

Scrambled Eggs

Beat the eggs and milk, add a pinch of salt to taste. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a frying pan. Add in the eggs. Stir frequently to create the lumps.

Baked beans

Pour into a bowl and warm in the microwave (or pot)

Serve with toast and English breakfast tea.
